Taking the photo

In the first photo, “Fill the frame” is used.
I believe that this is a “Fill the frame” photo, because clearly the frame is being filled.
The second picture that was used was “Rule of thirds”.
You can tell that this is a rule of thirds photo because of the way the picture is set up.
The third photo that I have chosen is “Framing”
You can tell that this is a framing photo because the actual picture is framed.
The last picture I’ve chosen is point of view.
You can tell that this is a “Point of view” picture, because the shot is taken from a person’s point of view.

The interview.

Not such a “Good” interview.
She maintains her cool by telling the interviewer that she doesn’t understand where she is going with all these questions. If she had been more aggressive I don’t think the interview would have went very well at all. It is a good thing that she kept her cool. I feel the most important question was when she asked If she had seen the woman who had been arrested. You should remember important questions that have interest on the person that you are interviewing, this will make the interview fun and exciting. If you ever have an interview that starts to go wrong, try to keep it calm and collected and under control. If I could interview anyone on this earth it would probably be one of my favorite singers.

Caught in lies.

Many a time I have believed for a news story to be fictitious. There is a lot of pressure now a days in the Journalism world to have the best article, so people more than likely make up stories. I was not at all surprised that the professional journalists fabricated news for the same reasons as above. Yes I agree with Shafers assertion because it is extremely correct. Even not in the journalism world, as everyday people we live the exact same way. I also agree that Colleges and Universities should be doing a better job of graduating their students who can handle the responsibility because its not fair to the students who are working really hard, doing what they love and don’t get the opportunities that they deserve.

Hard news vs. Soft news

I found an article on www.bellinghamherald.com , that is talking about the legalization of marijuana in Colorado. This is definitely hard news because it has to do with politics. This news article is very well known because it has to do with the government and the president.

The second hard news article that I found was on “ABC News”. It is all about Obama winning the 2012 Election. This is definitely hard news for the same reasons as above. It is all about the presidency & the government.

I also found an article on the government police website, stating facts about a missing man from Blackville. I believe that this would be soft news because it isn’t well known. It is about a man from a small-town place.

The second article I found on soft news was on the “CBC News” website. It is an article explaining to you that the obesity gene possibly could be stopping depression. This is definitely soft news. It has nothing to do with politics or government, and really isn’t that interesting.
