The video that I have chosen to discuss is the new "Covergirl" mascara commercial starring Katy Perry. I feel like this video affects our lives in three of the six different ways. I feel like where this is a makeup commercial, #4 would be the first way it affected us. Through not just this commercial but others as well we are shown a image as to what society considers normal.. Well, what is normal? This video also uses #5 which is stating how they use different methods of advertising to make us buy their product. This commercial is also entertaining and many would find it to have an almost humorous overall tone.
